The 10 y/o writing her own story. She said I had to write, too, and when I pointed out that she was using my laptop, she replied, “writing on paper will be good practice for you.” Our WIPs are currently 384 and 33,306 words.

Next up to read: Twisted by Laurie Halse Anderson. Going to spend part of Thanksgiving break reading through some books that have been challenged in our school district. #bannedbooks

Had an awesome book club meeting today, discussing Light from Uncommon Stars by @rykaaoki.bsky.social, and using a fun little game to help us dive deeper. I highly recommend everyone read this! I really enjoyed so many of the characters and want to read even more about their lives.
