You mustn't say Maltesers out loud around here, Mrs Lazy-Ferret is totally hooked on them, we can't even walk down the chocolate isles in case they are on sale. 😉😀

Yep, there seems to be a design floor, where their tounge is longer than the space in their mouth, so when they relax, it drops out of their mouth.😉🥰😄🐾

Best bit is when they wake up, but don't realise it's still sticking out.😀

This whole "working animal" thing really bugs me. Our Swizzels came from a guy who 'works' his ferrets on a big private estate. They eat whatever he catches. But all his ferrets would curl up in your arms, & Swizzels is the sweetest cuddliest ferret you can ever meet. Very fussy on food though.

Our guys were coming in from the garden, playing on the wheel, then chasing each other back out into the garden, so you may find yours still play on it as much as the cats.

Do you think he is doing something like birds do, tapping that sounds like rain to the worms, making them come up to the surface?
