Putting the climate crisis on the individual people to turn the blame is ingenious. Not to mention the slave labour, and emissions from equipment to mine the lithium for the cars.

I definitely think this is worth doing. Knowledge is power, and we don't want to lose it. Every banned book is a piece of knowledge bigots, and the ruling class wants to squash. So go invest in the forbidden fruit lol.
