Fascinated by Ursula K. LeGuin’s translation of the Tao Te Ching (“adaptation” is maybe a better word, since she started with other English translations rather than the actual Chinese).
I’m not a fan of the translation itself, but the notes are lovely.

I picked up the graphic novel adaptation of La Horde du Contrevent, and I don't know if I've ever seen as stark a "you ready to buckle in for some Serious Fiction?" signifier as the preface (not even the story itself, the preface by the original novel's author) having an epigraph by Deleuze.

My annual tradition of “play a new old roguelike during @roguelike.club”: Shiren the Wanderer GB2: Magic Castle of the Desert for the GBC!
The cutscenes are some of the coolest GBC art I’ve seen in commercial/non-contemporary games.

I wish I had learned this several years earlier.
I have gotten far more out of sitting down and quietly listening to what my body is trying to tell me (you might call this “focusing” per Gendlin, or “somatic tracking”, but they’re slightly different) than “meditation” in the sense of formal zazen.

but hey, I could raise VC funding based on the hockey-stick growth of my bifido
(some folks like Sabine Hazan — who's admittedly far on the extreme edge of "away from evidence-based medicine" — basically describe Long COVID from a gut perspective as "a disease caused by a lack of bifidobacteria")
