Wonder if the lessons learned log from the London - Amsterdam route have been dusted off for this.

And if true about Paris GdL to Milano PG, some form of refreshments bar is a must for the 6-7 hour journey.

Then again if coming from 🇬🇧, I would only go as far as Turin in a day with a stopover before continuing remaining part of journey to elsewhere in Italy.

I think they will end up having to go 🇪🇸 style with the inclusion of catering.
I also think they need to offer through-fares link to their existing 🇫🇷🇮🇹 cross border service which is why I would prefer it to be TGV Italia.

I know they have a system to try and speed up with boarding and alighting at intermediate stations which looks interesting. But 10min turnaround is "very ambitious" and not necessarily safe if it involves platforms being crammed with people.

It certainly makes sense to compete on a corridor with no competition unlike existing and planned services between Paris and Lyon. Also Velvet have expansion opportunities to Toulouse and San Sebastian (a city I think you may have suggested in a previous exchange)
