The cultural tutor isn’t here, but someone recently started a thread on LI about colloquially named buildings that reminded me of him. My contribution was the “Crunchy Bar building” originally built as merchant bankers, Fay Richwhite’s headquarters in Auckland, NZ. Anyone else have any?
