feels like winning is based on saving bombs for the bullshit parts. I kind of hate bombing in general but that's a whole other thing, there's a reason my favourite touhou games are IN and UM where you can just death bomb or auto bomb

also this is a side tangent but I really want to read something that will make me break down crying like higurashi and umineko did when I first read them. umineko did make me cry the second time around but not nearly to the same extent. I'm slightly scared I can no longer cry as much anymore

I think after so many years I started to have doubts thinking "was it really as good as I thought it was" and now my answer is yes, yes it is. The story has flaws but the things it does well it does so fucking well it's actually incredible

Now I wonder what I'll think if I reread higurashi...

actually it's probably not that confusing there's just a lot of stuff and I am still terrible at japanese so I don't really know what it's saying
the actual gameplay seems straightforward enough, seems like you just pick up rocks to get UFOs and borders

also I looked nothing up about this before playing it and I genuinely have no idea how this game's mechanics work

I think this is the most confused I've been by a touhou game
