I played the victim during dinner because I wanted to use the role to draw everyome into conversation and reveal a bit of motive for the characters. But I left during dinner, changed into a detective fit, and dressed an old stuffed toy in my former outfit to be the victim's body (it was hilarious)

I wrote the whole thing myself! Probs like 20 hours of work, 20 pages of written props, 15 physical props including invisible ink, crossword puzzles and vials of poison! but who knows, maybe I'll put it up somewhere some day or maybe it'll just be a great memory for the fam

Yazebas brought a brand new player into our regular group. He'd never played a token based game before but he was playing a sad lava elemental and he took to it like a house on fire. We made brunch but disaster struck when Yazeba accidentally opened a portal to hell and her magical focus was lost.

The game of Danse Macabre was fantastic; we were playing in the foothills of Armenia in the middle ages. Though its set in a later period it reminded me of one of my favourite films.

The murder mystery was regency themed and I forced everyome to dress up but they took to their characters extremely well. My mum played a psychic from the continent and I had to buy a specific remote controlled light to do effects for the seance she ran.

For the battle royale the theme was halloween candy and vaguely autumn themed, so all the enemies and character were different sweets and when one was removed from the board the players got to have a little snack.
