Pain is horrendous and i’m on the most intense pain management regime I have ever been on outside of a surgery. I have been nil by mouth since sunday and have received all my fluids through IV. Despite this i’m still so dehydrated. Urine is showing ketones, proteins and leukocytes in my pee. 3/3

I’m no longer in #crohns disease remission. I am currently in a flare up which is partially a cause for the blockage. I’ve been started on IV steroids and now I need to wait until after surgery to commence azathioprine and biologic infusions. Despite steroids I am currently no better 2/3

I love the idea of a IBD community!!! Honestly the IBD community on instagram has helped me through the most tough times, it would be lovely to recreate that feeling here🥹🙏🏻❤️

Full obstruction is an incredibly horrible experience due to what is brought up and expelled by the body, thats all i’ll say on that!

Pain and swelling is consistent and are the most challenging symptoms I’m currently dealing with right now 2/3
