I first watched the following video about four-years ago. I had been reading about the possible root cases of the political chasm in the USA. This video succinctly explained the possible differences amongst evangelical voters.

For what is worth, I am going to leave the door open to my handful of MAGA friends; MAGA family will be held at arm’s length. I said I would offer a soft landing to MAGA friends. That approach has worked in the past, and some minds were changed. Wish me luck.

I never did more than repost on my deleted Twitter accounts, and I avoid Facebook except to give major updates (births, deaths, etc.). Honestly, it hasn’t felt safe as a Black woman in deep red MAGA country. I am changing that on @bluesky. Sticking up for vulnerable fam+friends. 💙💙💙
