🎙️ For the past 5 years, Heather and her team @wtf-cobb.bsky.social have kept a close eye on how the district spends taxpayer dollars. From multi-million dollar contracts to questionable priorities, their work is all about making sure families know who is benefiting & how that impacts our schools.

🧵Cobb Schools claim they “won” a lawsuit. Here’s what they’re not telling you:

You file the reports. You speak up the chain. You follow the rules.
And nothing changes.

Labor Day reminds us: workers built this country.

Supporting workers means standing up for basic fairness: safe workplaces, living wages, and the right to organize.

Let’s keep standing up for the people who do the work.

Andrew: “This isn’t a public meeting. They just meet in public.”
Laura: “When you censor people like that, the whole idea of working together is gone.”

I know, It’s hard to feel patriotic when we watch rights being stripped away and communities silenced. But today is a reminder that true patriotism lives in the people who keep showing up. This 4th of July, we can honor those fighting to make America live up to its promise…for everyone.

💰 A golden parachute… at our expense? 💰
