🧵Cobb Schools claim they “won” a lawsuit. Here’s what they’re not telling you:

✅ The original map was ruled unconstitutional
❌ The case was dismissed only because the state drew a new map in 2024
💸 Cobb Schools spent ~$1.2 million in legal fees, your tax dollars, to protect political power

You file the reports. You speak up the chain. You follow the rules.
And nothing changes.

In Cobb, families and school workers are sounding the alarm — again and again — and the district keeps looking the other way.

Laura calls out the district’s political bias in back-to-school coverage. The focus should be on students and teachers, not just board members who align with leadership.

Labor Day reminds us: workers built this country.

Supporting workers means standing up for basic fairness: safe workplaces, living wages, and the right to organize.

Let’s keep standing up for the people who do the work.

Andrew: “This isn’t a public meeting. They just meet in public.”
Laura: “When you censor people like that, the whole idea of working together is gone.”
Cutting off public comment doesn’t just limit speech—it removes community awareness.

I know, It’s hard to feel patriotic when we watch rights being stripped away and communities silenced. But today is a reminder that true patriotism lives in the people who keep showing up. This 4th of July, we can honor those fighting to make America live up to its promise…for everyone.

A white woman chased a small Black child at a public park calling him the N-slur over & over again.

Another adult stepped in to stop the harassment while recording the incident. After a few exchanges, the woman left.

Bigots online raised $200K+ for her in a single day. Racism is still lucrative.
