Went paddle boarding yesterday in continued attempts to keep active while not #running We had a great time!
I had thermals on under the wetsuit & fortunately did not fall in - the water was rather cold!
Managed to go swimming in my lunch hour too today, powered by Monday morning coffee ☕️

Took Ted for a walk earlier, we visited the ‘pauper’s’ graves.
The stones are engraved with initials & some with the year, most are 17thC.
The stones were taken from the ruins of the 12thC Abbey nearby & repurposed by people who couldn’t afford headstones. People often leave wild flowers on them..

Had far too much fun supporting friends at a local 10k race today! Worried that when my leg recovers I may just stick to drinking coffee on the sidelines & pratting about instead 😂

Dark when I set out for our morning walk today, watching the sun rise though was 😊

Gorgeous Autumn day! Went to the gym early & did 30 mins elliptical, boring but necessary while im off #Running
Took the dog out, he was thrilled to find the smelliest pond/mud pit possible & jump straight in! 🙄

No running for me, hamstring flared up again after impatiently trying to do too much too soon 😒
Swimming this lunchtime instead, 1 mile breaststroke, which did me the world of good - calmer & cheerier now! ☺️
The sun is out & I’m going to pick a heap of apples off our tree & make cake & crumble 😋

Beautiful sky on my early morning dog walk this morning! & the first time for nearly two weeks my right hamstring hasn’t ached the whole time. Think I will test it out with a very gentle 5k later 🤞🤞🤞 it’s ok as I am badly missing #running It’s the mental & emotional health benefits you miss most!

Hamstring still not right so no running yet, but had a lovely walk with Ted in the gorgeous Autumn sunshine & then went to the pool, did a mile breaststroke & loved it, felt much cheerier afterwards! Strength class at the gym later with running friends, hopefully not too leg focused 🤞

Hamstring still not right so no running yet, but had a lovely walk with Ted in the gorgeous Autumn sunshine & then went to the pool, did a mile breaststroke & loved it, felt much cheerier afterwards! Strength class at the gym later with running friends, hopefully not too leg focused 🤞
Haven’t run since Saturday as hamstring still sore & feeling pretty grumpy as a result so I went to the gym & used the elliptical for an hour, not fun but needs must!
Then went to support at the new session of #C25k wk1 run1 - that definitely cheered me up! 😁 #Running #missingrunning

Then went to support at the new session of #C25k wk1 run1 - that definitely cheered me up! 😁 #Running #missingrunning
