It’s local for us, & we get free tickets through some offer out club gets so I tend to go each year - it is fun but I definitely wouldn’t ever pay full price!

Massive FOMO today; a bunch of my friends are doing the Warwick Half today - it’s a lovely race! 🥺
However, 3 wks into c25k & my hamstring seems to be responding ok 🤞 - & I’m back swimming again so 👍 ☺️
Off to the #Running Show today to enter all the competitions and bag all the freebies we can!

When I first joined Bluesky I had loads of reposts by people who didn’t seem to have any common interests, (running etc) switching to that setting stopped it 👍

Holding steady! I’ve done the first two weeks of the c25k programmes now & while it is a bit sore after each run it is settling back down - which the physio says is the key thing 👍

2/2 There are heaps of versions/plans & Apps out there for it, the one I use is www.nhs.uk/better-healt... It is a great way to start from a low fitness level, or to gently & slowly return to running after injury - my fear is if I don’t follow a plan I will go too far too soon & too fast! 🤦‍♀️

Over the next 9 weeks, you’ll run 3 times a week, alternating between walking and running. As you go, your running time and distance will gradually increase.

c25k stands for ‘Couch to 5k’; a nine programme of 3 x run/walks a week, usually building from a max of 1min running with walks in between in wk 1, to 30 min continuous running by wk 9.
