Learning to be more creative to deal with life. Cats, music, reading, politics, environment, arts and so on. We achieve more when we work together.

First they came for...and it's time to speak out as next time they might be coming for you.
I would sincerely hope so, he owns the platform he can easily tweak the number of likes. But sadly there are ordinary people who think like that, I have met a few...people are angry but often not with those really responsible

My question is who are the 129k people who liked that tweet? Are they all billionaires or just ordinary folks suffering from a severe case of Stockholm's Syndrome?

Having a good idea wouldn't be enough without the structures and the people that make that possible. If you don't want to pay a lot of tax and pay back society that made you rich, don't become a billionaire.

How billionaires become billionaires? 💭 It’s thanks to the people who buy their products, the workers who make their businesses run, and the infrastructure (roads, airports, ports) built by governments. It’s also about education that prepare their workforce. No one succeeds in a vacuum. 🌍

It all depends on whether there will still be elections. I wouldn't be too sure at this stage.

I am not boasting about that, so long ago anyway, but just saying how strongly anti-fascist I have always been. And I am very worried now.

I have never seen it the first time but my uncle was killed in the Mediterranean, basically a victim of fascism. As a child seeing my grandmother's and father's pain affected me greatly. I wasn't even 8 when I wrote an anti-fascist poem that won a prize.

It doesn't and it's always relative anyway. For instance, some people in Venice in the 1400s were very rich merchant. Their 'servants' were relatively better off than most people in Europe at the time, but inequality within Venice was still huge. The trickle down lie kept the status quo.

No, never. I am against an any kind of dying or killing. Not a member of any party for that reason. We should know better by now.

I am not a US citizen but I would have probably voted for Harris, not because I agreed with her 100% but she wasn't Trump.
February 14, 2025 at 8:23 PM
Well we knew that didn't we?
February 14, 2025 at 8:11 PM
I appreciate you don't, I will never confuse real people with whatever government you have.
February 14, 2025 at 8:10 PM
I am following you now, sadly I have lost my soulmate and I think you and I would get on even if I am on the other side of the Pond.
February 14, 2025 at 8:04 PM
Yes, exactly I could frame this. I don't know anything about you but I think we have a similar view.
February 14, 2025 at 8:00 PM
How? Why? I am a white European and black people are just as valuable as I am. How can you accept this?
February 14, 2025 at 7:56 PM
I didn't expect to be this quick. Actually I did, but I didn't want to look like the pessimist ( or maybe the realist)
February 14, 2025 at 6:31 PM
I know the feeling, I have been an activist on different issues and I get annoyed when people are only interested when it affects them. I might be stupid but I strongly believe that we need to fight for everyone. I am a feminist that includes ALL women in the struggle.

I don't have a TV and never watch QT, I can't comment on that. But we need to speak up for everyone, to quote Maya Angelou: "Because equal rights, fair play, justice, are all like the air: we all have it, or none of us has it."
February 14, 2025 at 4:46 PM
This is what happens when someone quotes facts and not just opinions. What he said is actually factually correct. He has made my day.
February 14, 2025 at 10:48 AM
Exactly, a leader should lead, they should be able to change people's mind. There is so much that could be done to improve people's lives, instead they chose to emulate Farage.

I didn't expect much from this Labour government but they have managed so far to be worse than my worst expectations. The same is happening everywhere, centre left parties have all become right wing parties. I believe we need to let them know we are still here, time for some serious protesting.
