It is singularly infuriating to me. It's so petty, childish, rude, and offensive. It's his absolute disdain for women that I'll never get used to, a hatred born of fear, no doubt. He's disgusting.

My entire life has been one of endurance, and I don't see that changing, but I look for small pleasures: a good cup of tea, a painting I never tire of looking at, the softness of a winter sun. Do these things fundamentally change my life? No, but I enjoy being reminded that beauty still exists.
