Dereliction of Duty: Elected officials are required to act in the best interest of their constituents, uphold the Constitution, and serve as a check on the executive branch.

If lawmakers are actively encouraging or enabling unconstitutional actions, they may be seen as derelict in their duties and complicit in enabling harmful policies.

Right-wing media, tech bros, and Christian nationalism... None of which I can see a way through.

That's a hot mess. I thought this was a good thing but clearly not. Just no.

2/2 Also not ok with Gaza protesters not voting (same reason). I get why it matters; it's a nightmare. But now it's going to get worse for them, not better (Ukraine, too), and, now we have our own nightmare with no chance for change: fascism, tyranny... We have a lot of work to do here at home.

Also, pain is part of life, but suffering is optional (Buddha). I know some of us are in a more fortunate place given the disaster about to be bestowed on us, but there's going to be a lot of hardship and suffering for all of us. So I'm not sure that resonates. Practice gratitude? How?
