Makes me so damn angry. How can they be so ignorant? Is it willful? This whole thread... Some of us saw the direction they were headed a decade or two ago; they've played the long game. Anyone who doesn't know this isn't paying attention.

This morning's waking thought: We have to take care of ourselves before we take care of others. We learn this again with every flight we take. This includes collective self-care (hence why I'm not ok with 3rd party voters). Because... Fascism, tyranny are now ours. 1/2

These appointments don't have to be qualified; they're figureheads to send the right message and keep the followers in line, while the "real" work of dismantling government gets done behind the scenes by the Heritage Foundation and others who have been playing the long game since the 1970s or 80s.
