This is the best equivalent deal I can get from o2 to what I have now, and in a year’s time it’s £15 more a month than what I pay now. Madam, no. Why should I pay so much more for an increasingly worse service?

There's a lot being written about arts criticism and it's an important conversation to have. We're losing a local and regional critical conversation about arts and culture, and it diminishes all of our cultural work if we don't have that perspective. Not everything is just "boss"

Liverpool is lucky to have a what we call a 360 degree cultural offer, where there's something happening all the time. But we don't have as many people covering it, or talking about it within influential circles as we used to. We talk about big events, but not the everyday

In a discussion in the council chamber about what to do with Birkenhead Town Hall one Cllr suggested a casino. Another Cllr (Independent Conservative Group) said there was a large Chinese community and “they love gambling”. Fucking hell

Barely out of Euston and someone has taken over two seats, firmly planted their feet on the chair and is blasting streaming video audio from their phone. And they wonder why this country will riot

Liverpool’s parks are brilliant but they’re doing incredible work to remove as many shaded spaces with short grass as they can. So for those of us who aren’t bonkers, you’re lying in the long grass to be outside and not frazzle
