Interesting to see so many great British patriots right now begging an American president to bankrupt one of Britain’s last remaining truly national institutions.

Record attendance at Torquay United women today, for the FA Cup Devon derby tie against Exeter City at Plainmoor. A challenge too far for the Yellows, but great support 👏👏👏

Just read that Moody Blues guitarist John Lodge has died. Blue Guitar, which he did with Justin Hayward in the mid 70s, is wonderful. Bought the single, still got it. youtu.be/K9LZMrpOa5Y?...

Ferris & Sylvester were at the Kernowfornia Festival in Looe at the weekend, their version of the Rolling Stones' She's A Rainbow is fabulous, I love the harmonies in the second half of it.

Embrace at Kernowfornia last night. They were brilliant. And what a wonderful festival this is, music on two stages on the beach at Looe. Such a lovely atmosphere 😍

Well, that was a bit tense at times, England v France, but the Red Roses are through to the Women's Rugby World Cup Final! Woo hoo! Two stunning tries from Ellie Kildunne. And what a fantastic atmosphere at Ashton Gate, Bristol. Even saw a rainbow 🌈

Final day of cricket '25 at Taunton yesterday, Somerset just running out of time in their quest for getting Hampshire all out twice in two days. Second pic shows all 11 Somerset players surrounding the Hampshire batters in search of the final 2 wickets. Brilliant drama. See you again next year boys!

Very fortunate to see Dear England at Theatre Royal Plymouth this week, and meet the actors and writer afterwards. You don't have to be a football fan to enjoy it. It's funny, emotional and it's world class. Go see it if you can!
