To me, it is not naive. Fascism is built on whipping up fear and division so to fight it we need the opposite - hope and inclusivity. It’s very sensible.

People may have babies in good times but then their circumstances change for the worse. Disability, illness, job loss, domestic violence, divorce, you name it. Life happens.
It’s not parents’ fault, and certainly not the children’s fault. 31% of UK children now live in poverty.

Britain is already one of wealthiest nations in the world, it is where that wealth is held that is the problem. Zack’s right. Traditional ideas of trickle down economics have been proved wrong and a wealth tax is what’s needed. It is eco to ensure fairer redistribution of wealth.

Please include childcare staff!
The current system ruthlessly exploits the skills, commitment & community spirit of (mostly) women, who year on year are squeezed to do more for less & paid an absolute pittance!
Quality childcare should not rely on oppressing women. We need radical change.

My NHS practitioner was very clear that in his experience some people get PEM just from cognitive exertion, some people get it just from physical exertion … And that it’s good to figure it out. Because then you know which area of life require the most pacing/restriction.

Yes I spent ages worrying if I definitively have PEM (I think I do) But also is it caused by my physical exertion or my cognitive exertion or my emotional exertion or all of them?!
As I have POTS from Long Covid too & bouts of tachycardia are by themselves exhausting, its v difficult to work out!

I’ve got LC & POTS and have been doing a session of alternate nostril breathing in the morning. Which seems to really help me. But perhaps I should just try the left nostril especially if it’s a bad day. Thank you- I will experiment!
