Agents were in two SUVS and a Dodge Charger, both unmarked. Agents wore street clothes, one had “police” marked on their vest.

They asked others on site for identification. Another apprehension action at a nearby McDonalds was related to the same enforcement action.

Lots of horn honking going on from those driving past, too. Another unexpected result.
There’s been one large truck festooned with conservative flags that’d rode up and down a few times, a few “yay Grump!”s but that’s not who is really making noise today. They are a very small minority.

You’d be forgiven if you’ve never heard of Surprise. One of the fastest growing areas of the Phoenix metro area, it’s only been adding to its population seriously since the early 2000s.
