Yup, I think it’s tough to communicate both that there’s a hierarchy in the classroom and also we’re human beings with a number of shared objectives.

I think when professors publicly shame some students, there are even more students who get scared and defensive, which makes things worse.

Let’s stick with the rule that if you can’t say something nice about your students on social media, don’t say anything at all.

Example: My students are great! And they’re no more flawed as human beings than I am, so let’s focus on my shortcomings instead.

Per tht 2018 legal opinion, the precedent of undeclared wars set w Indigenous nations has been used to justify military actions agnst Korea, Vietnam, Libya, Somalia, Bosnia, Haiti, Kosovo, Sudan, Afghanistan, Yemen, & Iraq. Congress has only declared war 11 times.

In 1 battle w the Miami Confederacy, 88% of US soldiers died, effectively wiping the American army out. War 1 Indigenous nations is why we have a standing military & why it is so big.
That war w the Miami Confederacy was cited by the Trump admin in 2018 to justify bombing Syria.

TBC, the issue isn’t NIMBYism by Native and other marginalized communities.

The issue is NIMBYism by comfortable communities who have the power to shove mining into someone else’s yard.

Upshot: lithium mining can generate environmental damage, at great cost to nearby Native and other marginalized communities—some of which are already suffering from the harms from the mining other minerals.

Needless to say, Christian is great, and all faults in this project are due to me.

As you watch the NFL’s push for youth flag football, there’s a striking emphasis on gender equity—that girls can play, too.

Someone in analytics has finally convinced the higher-ups which fans are more likely to bolt.
