Just realised that book 3, which is the entire reason I have come to Switzerland in the first place, features a character falling and spraining her ankle. I have been smotted (?) by the writing gods.

Day in London for book research. As it’s Virginia Woolf’s birthday I had a wander around Bloomsbury, popping into Gay’s The Word to buy books. As it’s my birthday in a few days I picked up some treats, and as it’s Saturday I had a cocktail while waiting for my train. Also wrote 1200 words.

My neighbours across the road have put up their Christmas lights, which means I can too! First I have to clean the bird poop off my balcony. I love having starlings coming to say hi, if only they did their business elsewhere 🙄
