Good morning, my friend! The gourds at my grocery called a meeting. As I walked by the leader said “Let’s give ‘em pumpkin to talk about!” and they started singing “Gourd Vibrations,” “Hey, Hey, Gourd Lookin’!” and more! It was gourdeous!

It’s time.
I planted forget-me-nots from seed, but only in pots as they are invasive. Lemon thyme returns every year. A few vegetables, plus some more Italian oregano drying. All of my Rose of Sharon shrubs standing tall and defiant against the force of recent weather.

Good morning, my friend! This is the 2004 “Tree of Life” #statue by #PeterRockwell (Norman’s son) on the #BostonCollege (Go #Eagles!) upper campus. I was being interviewed by a student-journalist who did a great job!
A rush of nostalgia, all the feels just being there.

Good morning, my friend! Happy Monday! We were invited by friends to their town’s Pumpkin Stroll. We drove out only to learn it was cancelled due to rain. Consolation prize: 1) we still had fun with our friends; 2) last year’s photos I thought you might enjoy! #pumpkins #carving #NewEngland #autumn
This pumpkin showed us all the fairies who lived there. Minions (characters from the Despicable Me movies) were well represented. Clever use of canning lid rings around the eyes! Glowing pumpkins, no doubt singing “This little light of mine, I’m gonna let it shine…”

I harvested the last large Roma tomatoes and pepperoncinis. Left the small ones in the garden to see if they’ll still grow. First time growing both! I loved how the sun warmed the colors in front of a copper pot that was part of my grandmother’s dowry. First of 2 views of my westernmost border flowers. Fingers crossed they made it through last night’s forecasted frost… View #2 of flowers yesterday from my side yard, western border. Look how tall the ageratum grew! I hope they made it because frost is known to kill them. I think the allium is strong enough to have made it through the cold!
