Good morning, my friends! Hubs “needed to run an errand” #Sunday & asked me to join him on the long drive. What he really wanted was to show me his new fave spot on his #motorcycle rides. There’s only 1 bench overlooking the water here at #WachusettResevoir.

Good morning, my friend! The gourds at my grocery called a meeting. As I walked by the leader said “Let’s give ‘em pumpkin to talk about!” and they started singing “Gourd Vibrations,” “Hey, Hey, Gourd Lookin’!” and more! It was gourdeous!

It was sooo much fun seeing all the creativity. Big puzzlement to us, however, was how they recreated me exactly as a mermaid and my husband as Uncle Fester/Addams Family. We left scratching our heads over those!! 🤣🤣

It’s time.
I planted forget-me-nots from seed, but only in pots as they are invasive. Lemon thyme returns every year. A few vegetables, plus some more Italian oregano drying. All of my Rose of Sharon shrubs standing tall and defiant against the force of recent weather.

A rush of nostalgia, all the feels just being there.
