I keep trying to wait for an update on my phone that says I can turn off AI but every single time I get an alert it tells me that they’ve intertwined it more and added it to more apps. I’m not updating it if it automatically has AI. BOOO HISSSS

My mom sent me this picture today to brighten my spirits. The Christmas tree at my parents’ has always made me incredibly happy, especially at night time 🥰

Another bout of Covid. This time really mild but… it’s like twice a year. Can’t even take my mask off outside or with just a person or two, cause I will always get it. I’m sure my insides are like mesh at this point. *sigh* what is the point.

I often immediately forget I’m in the world with other humans when I start talking to critters, as I do. I was gently urging a grasshopper off my car so he wouldn’t fly off on the highway when a coworker walks by and says, “I thought you were talking to yourself.” Nope, just the grasshopper.

Desperately need a job where I work with very few people/people actually care whether they get others sick. Catering isn’t it. As it is, theater is a huge risk but it’s like the only thing keeping me going. Those I spend time around also don’t mitigate any risk unless I plead so. Having a time.

This might be a long shot but the Happy Hearts Sanctuary is in dire need of funds to save their horse rescue. They have 24hours to raise the money they need for food (theyve been trying for weeks) or they will have to euthanize their horses. Please share and contribute if you can.

Another amazing show cancelled by Amazon within like 2 months. Étoile was so freaking good. What’s the point of even getting invested in shows anymore?

Spent yesterday watching a fun new show that I really enjoy, Etoile, about ballet companies mixing things up. Watched a documentary w/ & about Toni Morrison after, then got about halfway through an Ingrid Bergman doc. No matter what else I do with my life, I always want to be surrounded by the arts.

Spent yesterday watching a fun new show that I really enjoy, Etoile, about ballet companies mixing things up. Watched a documentary w/ & about Toni Morrison after, then got about halfway through an Ingrid Bergman doc. No matter what else I do with my life, I always want to be surrounded by the arts.
Many symptoms but my ears itch so badly that I want to scrape their insides with a spoon.

I am once again the only person in my vicinity with Covid while also being the only one who tries to be the most careful. I get it at least once a year now. Great for my chronic issues that I already got from having it before and my persistent brain fog.

Update of my understanding on TGBBS: they do get to practice some stuff at home and bring some of their own ingredients. It’s the technical they can’t do that for. I love all of the bakers but I think Nelly is my favorite.

One reason I would be horrible with TGBBS is that I have to follow a recipe to a T. Unless it asks for chocolate chips, then I add more than it says. A rather great segue into the other reason I’d lose, which is making everything chocolate.

So I’ve just now gotten into Great British Baking Show (I know, I know) and I didn’t realize half the time they don’t have a recipe?!?!?! They have the ingredients but during the technicals it looks like they’re just winging it. I started with the most recent season. New binging show for me!
