Quietly protesting inequality and fighting for justice in small ways.

I support public education and public healthcare in Alberta (and Canada), and I’m Canadian first.
If a teacher did that about a parent or student, they’d be lynched, and likely fired in this day and age (especially post NWC implementation).

Yes, teachers are held to a higher standard, but if that’s the case, why aren’t politicians as well?

For someone who was elected to represent the people in her riding, she sure has a lot of disregard toward people who are voting for her.

I can’t imagine me (I love my job) referring to people I work with the same way. I can’t imagine hubby (who deals with more challenging people) doing it either.

Number of results the UCP release willingly:

Whatever benefits them greatly.

Number of results that require legal challenges:

Almost everything they put their slimy hands on.

Transparency is non-existent for the UCP.

When the people you ask for advice are only there to confirm your ideas, you get Danielle Smith and the UCP.

Too bad the UCP didn’t ask the majority of Albertans if we wanted to rescind our coal policies. Pretty sure DS asked only the people who would financially benefit.

Public students in Alberta subsidize private school students so that private schools can have smaller and less complex classes.

If you’re wanting your shot next year too, remember to preorder it before December 15, 2025. 🤦‍♀️

This government is “SO good” at communicating. 💔💔💔

$2.8 billion went into the Heritage Fund.

The rest? Who knows.

I’m all for freedom of speech. If a separatist wants to sign (because they want to vote no), go for it.

I’m NOT okay with purposefully confusing language that can be ambiguous.

Remember the “Do you agree we should stay on daylight savings time” question? Noooo! I wanted standard time!!!!

It’s called voting for anyone except the UCP.

If democracy can’t prevail through regular citizens voting out the people breaking democracy, then there should be other steep penalties for politicians who try to subvert the law and regulations.

Sadly, climate change is real and happening. We just got extra, extra, extra lucky this year.

More extreme weather, drought in some places, fires in places that are hard to get to…and so on…

😔

I pointed out to someone that by living in Alberta, if they did the same job in another province, for the exact same pay, they’re paying LESS in taxes in Alberta than they would anywhere else.

The UCP words it as though we’re paying more individually, and that’s only true if we’re making more.
