Truly laughable language from the Speaker. People who are asking for RSVP's, putting maps of locations up, and getting permits are not "hating America"--they're expressing their love for it.
Mike Johnson is now calling #NoKings a "hate America rally"

The 47th president seems to wish he were king—and he is willing to destroy what is precious about this country to get what he wants.

Just listened to this--pretty good overview of the issues.
The case of a Maryland man who was mistakenly deported to a brutal prison in El Salvador is a test for the limits of presidential power — and the rule of law.

All the firings, cancelling of grants and contracts with companies , the closing of offices, disproportionately impact small towns, cities and states.

This is how it's done.

A strong and principled response by WilmerHale to the illegal Executive Order attack - a form of attempted government intimidation declared unconstitutional by a federal judge.

This is how to guard the rule of law.

Ozturk was arrested by six masked officers — like the Gestapo.

Her only offense appears to be writing an op-ed in her school newspaper.

While I strongly disagree with the views expressed in her op-ed, they are not a valid basis for deportation.

This is flat out un-American.

I said it before, but why not again? This is disgusting, and unlike any America I’ve known in my 60+ years. We’re not perfect, but we used to be decent most of the time. Now we disappear people and put them in concentration camps.
