So many renters are facing above-guideline rent hikes in Winnipeg. The NDP committed to improve rent control when they were opposition but have failed to take action since forming govt. Joined Mb Right to Housing friends this morning to issue the Premier an eviction warning ⚠️

While hundreds rallied outside the Legislature today, we were expecting a big announcement from the MB gov 🌎 but instead they just gave details of existing $2M climate action fund.
When will they start acting at the scale needed, with a climate action plan, 2030 target, clean heat strategy, etc?
