Come to think of it, in one of these churches someone has been waiting to be risen again since 1634! Dusty old bones, if he's still there somewhere.

(entslapen is actually a very euphemistic way of putting it, going to sleep would be an accurate translation, none of these old graves mention death or dying, they're champions of euphemisms regarding death)

Another one headstone drama illustrates that child death was not "normal", but something that upended lives. The Bible quote (thus is the Kingdom Gods) to me illustrates how heartbreaking this was. Father was a minister at this church, he & mother are also buried here (other side of the obelisk).

Ok, this was a very wonderful haiku as well! No idea what breed this one is, but look at the horns! (Probably a bio organic farm, most cows get their horns removed)

Waar zijn de vrouwelijke recensenten? Of zijn die niet zo positief over dit boek? Waarom überhaupt alleen maar dit soort over the top positieve recensies? In 2017 was dit me niet zo opgevallen, inmiddels denk ik: 🤨

Dutch police have "arrested" a wallaby. The local newspaper didn't take a risk and blurred its face. (In NL suspected and even convicted criminals are hardly ever identified. So blurred face, blacked out eyes, and no full names.)
Makes you wonder what heinous act this tough guy is accused of.

@libellenl.bsky.social nogal misleidende en schadelijke kop! Het gaat om specifieke zonnebrand met bestanddelen die schadelijk zijn voor koraal in landen die dat veel hebben. Nergens staat dat je helemaal niet mag smeren. In tijden met veel huidkanker zijn dit soort koppen schadelijk!

Visited the thrift store, found some quilted fabrics for under €15 total! They have very high plastic content, the black & pink (front) 100% horror, the red & black (back) are lined with grey jersey. I will try some different jackets.

Mystery Kitty. For years now, i spot this graffiti cat all over Zwolle, and around. No one seems to know who the artist is. Last year it appeared in Kampen, though it suspect it has been there for years as well, as Kampen is quite close to Zwolle.
