I've moved from a southern state that wants to pretend it's 1863 to a State that is looking towards 2063 as a blue democratic liberal Republic. It's time for the Civil War to be over but too many people are still fighting it.

We are putting too much faith in our military if we think that they will not follow orders from the president to shoot on American citizens. A live fire exercise over a busy highway? Are they insane? Trump is declaring war on California.

What the Hell? "New Qatari Air Force Facility to Be Built in Idaho, Hegseth Announces". You know, Qatar, that tried to bring the U.S. to its knees in the 1970's as a participant in the Arab Oil Embargo. If it were the Israeli AF instead, always our ally, would Americans stand for it?

The Republicans are defunding hundreds of infrastructure projects meant to harden energy and transportation. Will the billions go back to taxpayers? I think not. I think this is how they are slushing bucks back to donors. Millionaires to billionaires. Billionaires to trillionaires.

TRUTH: slashing govt funding doesn't even dent corruption. ALSO TRUTH: a great society invests, in everything from bridges to defense, to research, to youth summer programs. Taxes and fees aren't the enemy. Apathy and greed are the enemy.

The abortion issue is framed incorrectly. Women do not carry babies. Women grow babies. Everything the baby needs, it takes from the mother's body. Sometimes to the detriment of her health. She is the only person who can consent to this.
