An engineer, but not a cool one. An amateur baker whose sourdough starter is a Star Trek pun (Odough!).
I use this recipe from Serious Eats, and add ~50 grams or so of my starter and cut down the flour / water. www.seriouseats.com/foolproof-pa....

There isn't much kneading involved, but it takes some time to rise. It can be a pain to get out of a cake pan unless you have parchment paper.
