I found a neat piece of art over the weekend at a flea market. It drew my attention because the artist scratched the copper they painted it on to create the grain of the wooden floor.

I'm hoping I can find a better frame for it since this one is falling apart.

Just took a baking class on German breads. Dinkelbrot, Wurzelbrot, and Vinschgauer. They're delicious!

While making pan pizzas last night, I realized I didn't have enough cake pans, so I had to improvise.

I'm pretty happy with how this Khachapuri turned out. It's also the first time I made something with a stuffed crust. Absolutely delicious.
Step one - Roll the dough into an oval-like shape. Step two - Line the edges of the dough with some of the cheese mixture. Fold the edges over the cheese to make a stuffed crust. Twist the top and bottom of the dough together to make a boat, and fill with more cheese mixture. Bake! Garnish with green onions (or whatever you like!) and brush the crust with butter.
