Life is a cherry, death is the pit. Love the cherry tree
Yotei is much like the first game, but prettier and smoother. I would play that first if you want to have the most fun

Not me seeing the screencap before the context and thinking this was about Star Trek

But what's also interesting though is the recurring emotional response of 'awkwardness.' Which is something you might feel if you grew up with streaming services and parents who wanted to be open-minded about what they can watch with their kid.

If they mostly associate sexuality with phone-content, I could see how they could come to see it as beneath the medium of TV/Film

Half of Witcher stories are about Geralt trying to do his miserable job, and then realizing he can't for reasons of basic decency. The fact that he doesn't even want to be there in the first place makes it work so much better.

A key for me to making vegetarian cooking that others like has been using ingredients that mimic part of the flavor profile of various meats, like beet juice and smoky stuff. Current vegetarian options tend to force a binary between total meat mimicry or dour plain vegetables

Solo is a mostly fine and inoffensive movie save for the fact you have to spend the whole runtime trying not to mentally compare Ehrenreich to Harrison Ford

The Rise of Skywalker teaser had a bit of what the kids call aura. That was before it was obvious Palpatine was literally coming back

The first season feels like the product of a unique and specific voice, and the seasons after sand away the edges in favor of a toothless friendliness that feels like being dropped in a ball pit

Yeah exactly. I know space is big, but how would the empire not have noticed all these rebel ships on a habitable planet that's a hop and a skip away from Coruscant

Rogue One is quintessential modern Star Wars in that we love pieces of it rather than the whole thing. Vader hallway fight, Cassian shooting a guy in the back, K-2SO, etc. The movie isn't bad, but it's not great

It feels like the background setting is *completely forgotten* as we focus on the main characters and their battles. You vaguely comprehend what the factions are, but not important details like why there's a Resistance when the Republic still exists
