Most people advocating for Palestinian lives weren't strategists nor a singular movement. They saw a genocide happening and tried to stop it. That's it. I think it'd be bad if everyone in the world cynically calculated public strategy every time they saw something bad happening.

But the original post which it appears you agree with is accusing the Times of hypocrisy. It's not hypocritical to believe what passed yesterday wasn't the bill that the Times was saying Starmer needed to stay the course on.
