Check out this informative thread. The Arctic Refuge is an amazing place and I'm so happy the misguided attempts to lease and drill there have suffered another setback.
Back in 2017 when Republicans handed massive tax cuts to the rich, they bent the knee to let Big Oil drill recklessly in vast swaths of untouched wilderness, mandating the Bureau of Land Management hold two lease sales in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge.
