I had pretty much 0 problems with the acting/cast btw. The writing just completely lost what was good about the show and then they rushed the shit out of the ending. The pacing and tone whiplash in the last season (especially the last 3 eps) were its biggest sins imo

I never played it but metal Sonic’s aura alone was enough to carry its legacy
