The water feature that Trump is SOOOO concerned with 👇🏻
Flower beds? The non-existent Roof-top Garden?

There are detailed photos and sketches of everything.

Not once did they say "tax".

FoxNews is responsible for the dumbing down of America.

Not a single one could have passed my Freshman Econ class.

*They just repeat the lies with a smile on their lips.

Say it with me... 401K and change in dividends.

Add change in makeup of "young" family, more headed by single women. Couples w/o kids, more dual income households.
Increase in HS dropouts.
Shift in tech?

Reagan/Congress did some shortsighted things, but there are dozens of structural reasons.

Lumber as of 9 a.m. EDT.

Add in 9% passthrough due to Tariffs on Canadian products.
25% on the stuff coming from Baltic region.

Mills in Pacific NW are running at reduced capacity for maintenance.

Housing affordability becomes harder when the Gov. places barriers to pricing.

Today's hero...

She knew exactly how to reach his weakness by showing her strengths.

I said a band should play both countries...

Apparently you can't tell the difference between a person and a location?
Specifically said I wouldn't play for Netanyahu etc.

Critical thinking not in your skill set?

You're speaking of inequality of access, not a construct of politics.

Simply by clicking your link, I was able to enjoy your art. Particularly the sunset in the 3rd row.

You didn't ask politics, religion, gender, or any other factor. You democratized viewing simply by allowing access.

Such a great singer...

Ozzy is coming home...

Well Donald...
This is the point Economists will say begins the full effect of your economic choices.

It's now all you, not Biden, not Obama(?).

Can't hide from your choices...

Sunday Data Point - #Medicare Payments

Calculating the payments back to States from the Federal doesn't include Medicare.
2023 data shows CA outpacing receipt of payments by $10's of Billions over other States.

For those arguing CA net-payer status? It's not quite what people argue.

Seriously Comcast?

Even with TVs using the streaming app (it's slow garbage that lacks functionality), the bill is getting abusive.

*Don't care about local sports, but for "reasons" I'm stuck paying for them.
July 17, 2025 at 1:16 PM
OK, what are people buying? Is the higher income cohort carrying the economy?

Unemployment is steady at 4.1%.

All the data supports NO cut in Fed Funds Rate in July.

Yes, this changes for services with Meta, Apple, Google, Uber...

Where things are built is more important than the location of their headquarters.

Fiscal Dominance - Federal Reserve versus Government in a game of Chicken.
Central Bank can't respond in a way Trump wants.
Trump can't stop increasing Federal Deficit.

As they said in Highlander "There can be only One!"

Rates will need to stay high until inflation effects of tariffs show in data.

Republican views in the 1st 2 categories should be what interest people.
Now that some are getting a better education on the importance of immigration, their views are shifting.

Expect to see a shift in policy before '26 Election cycle.

Stephen Miller is a POS... just a reminder!

Regressive Taxes are fun to study and mapping the nature of how the current Administration has constructed them. Because Tariffs are, by definition, a consumption tax.

I'll be curious to see how state Sales Tax are affected by changing consumption.
Eventually something breaks...

You go into a disaster area and the couture choice is Green Keds? (Add in the flipped semi for background.)

Melania... a pair of boots, steel tipped boots.

The total lack of empathy is bothersome. Get some mud on your shoes.

*From a distance how do you differentiate blondes in faux BDUs?

Trump needs Powell out of office to make the math of OBBA work long-term.
The amount of pushback renovations at the Fed at getting (seriously, normal price escalation over 7 years?) shows the path they've chosen.

👇🏻Is how you "create" misconduct or gross incompetence.

#MechaHitler spewing Nazi Punk while targeting POC, LGTBQ+, or bicyclists...

What could possibly go wrong?

My strange Basket of Goods tracks not only food I eat but some weirdly specific items.

This particular #synth has been out of stock for 3 months running

Any guesses?
#Tariffs

It's a small, local dealer and rather than assume the tax, they've decided to just forgo the sale

Saw this Meme and can't help but point out...

He'd charge them for the services. Not a dime is coming from him unless it's to buy a new plane.

*Was in Houston after Harvey in 2017, only church I saw closed and not answering the door.

Wealth is Citizenship agnostic.
Europe has seen outflows that will eventually require the lessening of public support programs.
U.S. growth will simply be a put on Trump policies.

Iran/Nigeria interest me, so much corruption that we're just laundering their grift.

This "book" was delivered to my office by the DNC?

The note attached mentioned the advice I'd had given about changing an aspect of their Economic Messaging.

This is just Tuesday afternoon finger pointing because they are on track to screw up their messaging yet again.

Started this 👇🏻over the weekend.

I'm convinced the author is taking pot-shots at the current President and I couldn't stop laughing.

*How many changes to the draft-copy were made before publication (7/2) is now my guessing-game!
