I think most people agree we need to Tax the Rich!

TL;DR: 1) tax inheritances & gifts as income; 2) reform philanthropy by enforcing payout rules; 3) limit charitable tax benefits of capital gains — ie align rules so same applies to wealth as income

We hiked up the mountain behind Nekkstad, where my name comes from. It was 20f degrees cooler in the shady forest than when we emerged above the tree line. But up there we could see the North Sea

Lots of Norwegians use robot lawnmowers… they follow a random pattern and head back to charging station when their battery is getting low. Is this putting sheep and goats out of business?

Then we stayed on the island my great grandfather and namesake was from, just a couple hours drive away from those mountains. The water in the North Sea was in the mid-60’s making it refreshing for a swim. Here’s a panoramic video at sundown, 10:44pm…

We're just 11 months + 2 days away from all Minnesotans being eligible for up to 12 weeks of Paid Leave. DEED, the state agency responsible for administering it, is on track to deliver it. And it's not rocket science: the rest of the world and 12 other states have done it!
