Iowa has allowed same-day registration since 2007, the first year of a (short-lived) Democratic trifecta.
Polls are open 7 am to 8 pm today.
To register to vote you will need some valid ID (e.g. driver's license) and proof of address (e.g. lease, utility bill, paycheck, bank statement).

Some Monday happiness for you. My son is on the spectrum, 6th grade, wants his own friends more than anything. Today a girl knocked on the door and asked whether he could walk to the bus stop with her. He sprinted around to find his shoes, propelled by rocket-fuel joy, and left with her.

I went through the text of Project 2025 with an eye toward disability policy.
I found serious threats in health care, housing, and education--including a proposal to gut IDEA, the cornerstone of disability inclusion in schools by turning it into a "no strings block grant."
