Retired trial lawyer/teacher Political realist & moderate on most issues Liberal on some- conservative on others It’s been a while since I voted for a Republican. I will block you for making casual Hitler or Nazi analogies - you think too highly of them
I would say that's a yes - Trump knows that he's a liar. And so does Hassett. If you ask if Trump knows Noem is skimming money for her pals Hassett would tell you Hunter Biden sold paintings. With that fake smile.

I would go with the Catholic Church. The GOP is No. 2.

My Rep is B Fitzpatrick. He breaks w/Trump only when it does not matter. He voted against the BBB but it was passing anyway. He also was not attacked by Trump & still hasn't been. I think he gets the word in cases like that that he can go against Trump. It's a very purple seat & he likes his job.

Can you picture the grey beards like Cornyn, Cruz, the WSJ and NR editorial boards, looking at this and thinking, “Yep. I’d follow him everywhere and anywhere. What a great leader.”?

It couldn’t be all his fault.

Someone please tell me she asked why the change of heart from wanting full transparency to not wanting it to saying he always wanted it.

Not all Democrats. Not even most. One in particular did because Franken was seen as an obstacle to her Quixotic belief she was Presidential material. The rest were cowed in to not objecting because they'd be called names.

The very last line of the attachment is critical. Trump claims he booted Epstein from Mar A Lago because h3e was a creep vis a vis kids. But that's all he did. He did not go to the police or media. He let it continue. He knew kids were being exploited and abused but said only - Do it elsewhere.

This is why the block feature is so necessary. It’s how you can try to keep the raw sewage spill contained.

My guy, Brian Fitzpatrick, will be counting votes to make sure if he votes to release them there will be enough of a margin so that his vote won't matter. That's how he does it, the "problem solver". He will break with his party only when his knows his vote won't change anything.
November 13, 2025 at 6:00 PM
The extent of his character flaw is not in question. He kicked Epstein put of Mar A Lago because he found out he was a creep vis a vis kids, but that's all he did? No contact w/police or media to share what he knew. He did nothing to help children he admits knowing were being exploited and abused

I just not get people who think an endless shutdown was the way to go instead of letting the GOP face the consequences of its subservience to Trump. Just don't blow it by going down some social issue rabbit hole that must people want nothing to do with or disagree with.

It does not take a lot of imagination to picture much worse than that. Much worse.
