I do not think SCOTUS will take Trump’s appeal of the E Jean Carroll verdict. From what I’ve read the appeal is based on discretionary evidentiary rulings by the trial judge. How they rise to constitutional issues will be the question Trump’s lawyers have to answer. Seem highly unlikely.

The Mamdani craze seems to be overlooking by how much he underperformed DiBlasio. DiBlasio was getting over 60% of the vote and close to 70% in one election. Mamdani barely broke 50% against a creep and a guy who peaked in 1979.
