i was spring cleaning old folders, and found some outtakes from a cartography of love which i had completely forgotten i even wrote. long time no share writing!! so here's Tooru and his roommates

Ming-Yi still speaks Spanish with an accent that’s somewhere between American and Taiwanese, but at least he never has to repeat himself, or ask anyone to repeat themselves. He’d met Mateo on a university exchange program in Barcelona and, to hear Mateo tell it, just showed up in San Juan one day, dug his heels in and never left. “A lot like you, Toto.” “Don’t make me sound like a… like a ronin!” And then Tooru had struggled to explain in three different languages what a ronin was, and why it was not like a gaucho, yes he supposed a wandering samurai was kind of like a wandering cowboy, yes they were both shiftless and aimless but honestly that wasn’t the point, the point was— The point was, sometimes there was just too much he wanted to say, in any number of languages, and he simply had to fall silent, and look at the streets around him and think, I’m here. He’s really here. All the things he wants to do, they’re overwhelming. If he thinks too hard about them, he’ll fall apart.

finally and most importantly I WAS IN MALAYSIA TO SEE THE GOUS ON THEIR ZEPP TOUR!!! 😭 it was such an absolute dream to see Toumyu touring abroad and they were AMAZING!!!! i had SO much fun yelling and singing and cheering for them I LOVE TOUMYU... shoutout to the fans who gave me this at the door 💚

But I want to make this absolutely clear: the golden way is not a manual to creating manga. The golden way is a path to further developing your craft. It's the path to get from where you are to where you're going. It's the path to help you search for where you go next. Therefore—and this may be a strange thing to write—you must not create manga exactly as I instructed in this book. If you simply implement the golden way I outlined in these pages, you won't make any new discoveries. Use this book as your base to make a brand-new manga, to make a powered-up version of manga, or maybe even something 100 percent different, something the exact opposite something that completely ignores this book. I wrote this book because those are the kinds of manga I want you all to create.

yes!! here he is this winter all snug and cosy indoors. sometimes i rotate my attendant when i want to give Kashuu the chance to go on expeditions, but it’s usually him <3 do you still play the game kurii?

#tkrblark Douyo came home for Christmas ❤️‍🔥 and with the Nukemaru I collected earlier this winter regiment, my honmaru is COMPLETE! i now have every touken ranbu sword!!!
