Friendly reminder to pay attention to the rules of accessible visual design. A lot of people don't realize this but good and clean design work can help dyslexic people like me read what you wrote

Normalize making accessibility information readily available!
I made new signs for my office, including an updated accessibility sign. This is one way I hope to make students feel safe and supported in my office.

Solidarity with UWO workers impacted by layoffs and furloughs. A lot of friends – new and old – are dealing with some extreme uncertainty right now. My office is open to anyone needing a vent session next week (as are my DMs etc).

So on the other site I posted my office sign and it got some traction. Cool!
...but then today I found out I have Canva through work and made a much better sign. 🤡

What are good local fox valley places for STEM students to volunteer at? I have plenty for arts, humanities, and human services and not so much for STEM (other than ed).
