discovered that a single bent CPU pin can cause game, GPU driver crashes *months after installing the CPU*. only spotted it because I tried to upgrade my RAM and one of the mobo slots wasn't working.

Been reading up on Blender lately, and it occurred to me that the almost all of the creative tools I'm using have Linux-native versions. Still holding out for a native Ableton port (or else give in and learn Bitwig), but it's very likely my next workstation build will be penguin-flavored.

Tokyo Xtreme Racer 2025 is great even in early access. Just beat Stage 1; AI needs to not crash into other cars as easily, but it takes me back to grinding WMMT3 in the arcade.
