In warmth, filled with soft clouds we felt a stillness, while the sun moved west and chiaroscuro clouds thickened and a barrage of rumbling and cracking loomed in the sky till raindrops met earth and flesh and sent shivers down my spine like bolts of lightening.

I looked and looked until my vision blurred and only threads of light appeared to stitch memories like text in time. The light threads disappeared and the imprints began to fade and echoed through canyons and crevices, searching endlessly. Still I am here like a Bristolecone pine.
