I write humble SF stories of humble characters thrust into extraordinary situations, and grand epic tales of heroes at the horizon of wonder.
I'm looking forward to getting my copies. Our Canadian postal workers are in the midst of a labor action right now, so I may need a heroic level of patience as I wait.

“He’s heading for that small museum dedicated to the history of American democracy.”

“I think I can get him before he gets there. He’s almost in range.”

“That’s no museum!”

Having seen the awefull movie but knowing that Zelazny's the real deal, I'm very curious about this novel. I'm adding it to my wish list.

(I still remember George Peppard's classic line: "Tanner, let's get out of here. This town is infested with killer cockroaches! I repeat: killer cockroaches!")

Social media and 21st century life have trained me to think in time spans of hours and days. So I found the perspective that looks at a whole year at once very insightful. Reading the intro made me feel like a historian reading the work of another historian.

Q1: How can AI in Canada be made even more wonderful?
Q2: Which sectors should be the highest priority for the development of wonderful AI?
Q3: How do we improve the business enabling environment (e.g. nasty oversight and regulations) to ensure that wonderful AI doesn't have any roadblocks?

Viewing this questionnaire with my scientist glasses on, I must say, I can't remember the last time I ever saw such blatant bias in the framing of survey questions. If a grad student proposed this as their research instrument, I would give them a grade of D- at best.
