Some dude from Argentina that's too lazy to write up a description different enough from the one he uses elsewhere

Every episode of this actually features Jackie Chan at the end answering a question but sometimes there’s so many cuts that it makes him look unhinged.

The article linked there shows it, but the game is absolutely filled with completely obscure puzzles and progression that feel extremely "buy our hintbook!", cuz otherwise there's no way you'd figure that stuff out on your own. It's a mess.

What's actually happening is even odder: the guy there is not Les, but World's Smallest Man Helmut Bean (who you meet at the local circus), and he's inside the pipes to grab an old dry cleaning ticket for Elv-- I mean THE KING's old suit, so that Les can dress up as him.

It's a weird game. lol

Also it has that one loading screen with the little scribbled dragon drawing which is still funny.

It's a rough one but there's definitely worse pinball games out there, and this one at least has a lot of memorable aspects, so it stands out in that way.

It probably wasn't, at least from what little I know (I'm not European); it definitely wasn't a thing here in Argentina, cuz I too first heard of it via that Simpsons scene.

It extends to the game itself, too; the intro has that new design for the police operator (in late 90s CG form), and during dialogues there's now little portraits that pop up next to the subtitles, it's neat stuff.

The best thing is that the actual Japanese boxart not only has that as the cover, but also another extra illustration that's also very good.

I had to look that one up, but yeah wow that one is stellar too!

Also, in a similar vein, there was the DS Populous that EA Japan later did (in collaboration with Genki), which also went for a different artstyle to the original; it's a pretty neat version, as it also adds many new things (some based on the JP-developed SNES port)

With the awesome new art from Future Cop LAPD's Japanese release and now this, it's clear that someone at EA Square back then was absolutely cooking.
