Now that I think about it I’m pretty sure Apu from the Simpsons made me look up Ganesha? And that got me looking up Hinduism, etc.

shy, but loved to learn. I was also like an eighth of a mile from my local library, so I’d waddle up there and look up stuff in the card catalog or encyclopedias if I’d heard it mentioned on TV or mentioned by grown ups and was too shy to just ask. (2/2)

It shows that the Constitution was never worth the paper it was printed on if the people in power can just ignore it and nothing actually happens. We’ve been conditioned to believe resistance is unpatriotic, somehow.

I’ve looked into this and I’m one generation too far removed from claiming any of these ancestral places as citizenships. Maybe if I write a really nice letter to the mayor of Pamplona explaining that the King of Navarre was an ancestor of mine they could pull a string or two.
